Social Media Specialist

 

 

 

Social media research:

  • Researching and monitoring emerging TikTok, Instagram, and wider social media trends
  • Identifying viral trends early and helping incorporate them into our social media strategy e.g. adapting trending challenges, memes, and formats to our audience.

Community Engagement:

  • Actively researching and engaging in new social media trends and viral moments that fit our brand tone.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner based on our brand tone of voice to foster community engagement and trust
  • Create meaningful relationships with followers and influencers to drive positive and exciting conversations around the brand.

Content Management:

  • Upload and schedule content across TikTok, Meta, and YouTube in line with the content calendar.
  • Ensure content consistency across all platforms, adhering to brand guidelines.

Social Media Strategy Support:

  • Assist in developing and refining the social media strategy to increase brand visibility, engagement, and reach.
  • Analyze performance metrics and provide insights for optimizing social media content and campaigns.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to content and strategy.

Other Tasks:

  • Manages the CEO’s professional and personal schedules, including agendas, emails, emails, phone calls, customer management, and other corporate logistics.

 

Qualifications:

  • 2-3  years of experience in social media management with a focus on TikTok, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), and YouTube.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with the community and handling customer queries.
  • Outstanding use of the English language
  • Proficient in social media analytics tools to monitor performance and derive insights.
  • Excellent understanding of social media trends and algorithm updates for all focus platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
